The United States Mission to International Organizations in Vienna (UNVIE) works with seven major organizations of the United Nations system based in Austria Europe. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) with the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) prevents the spread of nuclear weapons and promotes arms control. The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) controls international trafficking in narcotics (drug control), combats transnational organized crime, corruption, and curbs the financing of international terrorism. Other additional organizations of the United States Mission to International Organizations in Vienna (UNVIE) are The Wassenaar Arrangement (WA) and the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (OOSA). Furthermore The United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), the Preparatory Commission for the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) also the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) as well as the UN Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) are part of UNVIE in Vienna Austria Europe.
