Express Brake International Inc., markets a new stainless steel air brake shoe to the heavy duty truck market. The Express Brake™ is a patented system for attaching OE rated lining materials without rivets or bonding, adding an additional 13 square inches of lining surface contact with the drum throughout the brake life cycle. The brake shoe is also designed for relining without removing the brake drum, on many suspension. The result is a brake system which increases stopping performance, drum and lining life, and reduces brake service costs. EBI also markets a patented brake crum handler with swivel action to allow easy handling of drums and removal or replacement of drums on or off the wheel end.
