Homepage of Eastern Railway (India), made by a rail enthusiast, operating in eastern part of India. In these pages efforts have been made to present the history of railways in INDIA and eastern part of India, and the contribution made by East Indian Railway Company in initiating the RAILROAD MOVEMENT in India. The materials used in the pages hereafter have been collected by me from various sources, archives, libraries, newspapers and of course from Eastern Railway head quarters, divisions and workshops.
